I tend to prefer Christmas, one of the reasons being the "gift unwrapping" but the main one is it being in winter so snow is a normal sight, and sometimes the characters travel to a cabin in the mountains or a similar place. Such sights tend to be gorgeous.

Oh! Have any games on your mind that you could recommend with such a setting? The only good holiday theme i have on my mind right now is Being A Dik and the recent update with the Halloween party.

Halloween isn't really a thing in most parts of Europe, so we don't have that connection towards it. But also the typical overhyped Christmas season spirit of the us is generally considered somewhat strange here.

While most specials aren't really my cup of tea if I had to choose it might depend on the context of the story, like if there is some strong connection between characters in the story, like familial, friends, significant others, etc, then Christmas could be nice to see, but Halloween has a much better vibe for it in my opinion.
