Hey new here! Never used any type of forum or anything before so I'm very overwhelmed by everything. Any tips? Also can someone explain the etiquette?

I'm guessing this is where I'm supposed to write what I wanted to say but I didn't realize it and wrote it all in my title so it is what it is I guess
Hi, I'm very new to the whole forum thing too. So far, you seem to be doing well! Everyone here seems pretty chill, forgiving of any mistakes, so probably not too much to worry about. Have you looked around a bit, read some threads? I'm sure a staff member will show up in just a second posting some useful links, but I'm happy to answer any questions I can! Glad to have you here!

Yeah I tried to introduce myself elsewhere and ask questions and got created a thread and got charged 10 activity points. Am I supposed to be doing it like that? Cause it feels like I should be being charged activity points for posting or is that just how it works?

Okay. So parts of the site are unlocked with Activity Coins. You earn those by posting in threads (not just spamming) and by getting likes. Creating your own thread does cost AC, yes. The best way to grind is by replying in the Anti-Social and Lurker thread, various off-topic question threads, and image-post threads (be sure to read/follow the rules on content)

Ah so basically I created a thread and got charged instead of replying in one which was my mistake, thank you and I also wanted to ask but is there like a video guide here or is it something I should just figure out over time

No video guide that I've found. There's a few "rules" pages, whether general forum rules, rules on image content, explanations of the shop/bank system, suggestions on how to get coins, etc . Just poke around, read stuff, and when you're comfortable, say hi and join in!

And don't feel too bad about the mistake. With my likes and our conversation, you've probably already made those coins back!

Welcome to the site.

You're right that more text usually goes in the post than the title, but we got the idea at least.

I recommend reading about the coins system when you get time and also joining the lurker thread.

@Redyscom will probably be along with a nice intro as well.

If you are a younger person who grew up with the internet you probably already know how to handle yourself. LC is maintained as a pleasant community by the mods. Just remember that many areas of the site are public, and even if you are posting in restricted areas you should keep yourself safe and avoid posting identifying information, as you would on any website. I am just sharing my opinion.

As somebody who's been interacting on (and moderating) forums for just over a decade at this point, the biggest thing I would say is don't spam. While the posts themselves may be harmless, the spamming of said posts might annoy people. If you want to reply to multiple people, just combine all the replies into one post. This forum does seem to have an auto-merge feature if you do post twice in a row, though, so don't worry too much if you do end up accidentally doing that.

Regarding here, the main thing you should look into, as mime already mentioned, is the coin system, as that will allow you fuller access to the site (to areas like Members+). You should have gotten a private message when you joined, linking you to a topic about how to get coins. The best places to get coins, as you've already been somewhat shown, are the general chat and the image threads, specifically the daily one, where you might get an extra reward if mime likes your image(s). The etiquette here could be described like many other forums as "don't be a dick." If you're known by the moderators, it should be because you're a cool person who never gets into trouble, not somebody who always gets on their nerves.

Hi! Welcome to LewdCorner~
I hope you enjoy your time here and not only find what you're looking for, but also discover new and interesting things. Don't be shy about joining in on the conversations—you're more likely to be reborn in an isekai than to run into a toxic user around here.

Tips and information:
  1. Read the Rules—they're non-negotiable and not open to debate—so you can avoid getting into trouble.
  2. This forum has a “Rank” system that separates the content users can see and access. These ranks can be obtained in the Shop, though not necessarily with money, and certain ranks can only be earned by fulfilling a role on the forum.
  3. In addition to ranks, the forum features a coin system. These include Activity Coins (AC), Activity Coins 2.0 (AC 2.0), Donation Coins (DC), and Platinum Coins (PC).
  4. You can earn AC and AC 2.0 by being active on the forum—whether by commenting or receiving reactions. Don’t forget to give reactions, and avoid spamming. You can earn DC and PC by donating to the forum; the forum is supported by donations, which is why you’ll never see annoying ads on the site.
  5. To view restricted content (Mainly Lolisho), you need to be a Member+, a rank you can buy in the Shop (it’s intuitive, but ask if you have trouble).
  6. In the Shop, there’s a tab called Vault, where you can deposit your AC (minimum 500 per deposit) so they grow every 24 hours at a 1% interest rate and with a limit of 500 coins generated by that interest.
  7. In addition to the “Member+” rank, there are “Prestige” ranks ranging from 1 to 5. These offer the same benefits as Member+ but include additional perks. Furthermore, higher ranks include all the benefits of the ranks below them.
  8. The forum has a server and will eventually launch its own platform to break away from and its anti-privacy practices, which put users' security at risk. You're welcome to join.
  9. If you encounter any issues or need a moderator to look into something, please use the reports and support tickets. Don't leave a problem unreported.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. There are no stupid questions; nobody is born knowing everything—never let a question go unanswered.
