Help me with my game concept.

not sure if it would fit, but there are exactly 2 pictures of Aloy getting used by some of the robits as a bio-sex-bondage-engine of sorts, and imo that's extremely hot, would love to vote for that

So I'm currently in the conceptual phase of my first game and wanted some input to help me make some decisions. I'd start a poll here, but it's big, and also, I'm posting this poll on several other places, so I decided to make a unified poll. Please visit the following poll and help me out.

In overly simplistic terms, if you could play a game on any franchise/Universe, what would that be? Anime, Movies, Video Games, all are welcome, or write your own I might not have thought of. Choose as many as you want.

Poll Is here:
Mod Edit: Link has been vetted safe and is a Google Doc.

I'll be using HS2 Studio and Renpy. However, it's not quite a parody. Nothing is set in stone right now, but essentially your character will have an ability (part of the story plot so I can't explain much here yet) that allows him to visit his favorite fantasy/pop culture universe and meet people there. Through interactions with them, you will progress in your own story. I intend to keep it simple and pretty linear for now and the themes and topics will depend on the universe you visit. If you go to the Tekken world instead of the Pokemon world, I don't intend you to be interested in a story to grow through the power of friendship, for example. Each universe will be faithful to its lore and the story will reflect it

Small update, So far, Sailor Moon, How to Train Your Dragon, Hercules, Bioshock, and Cyberpunk are in the lead.

Make sure to cast your votes

All the best. that is a diverse list ... you might want to zero in on smething you love.

Thank you very much. If I'm totally honest, this game is a springboard. I already have 2 original concepts in the burner but they are so complex I wanted something small and simple to get you guys to meet me. The other 2 projects are already WAY past the concept phase and Ive already started writing, but realized I needed to polish some coding skills, which this simple project is for.

If you want honesty, here it goes:
I think if you want to actually in seriousness progress and thrive in this project, you got to actually do some research on similar projects because the concept isn't anything new.

1. There are fair few games out there that play with pretty much same concept. Dude gets transported/can go to other worlds with pop culture characters. Proceeds to fuck them.
What I'd recommend is downloading there parody games, playing through them and see what you yourself can do differently. How you can yourself improve on delivery of the story and make it more appealing as there is already established competition in the "isekai" style games.

2. Don't let make the games based on what most people vote for. Take it in consideration but do what you personally are familiar with. Say people vote Kim Possible a lot. She is childhood crush of lot of people. Cool. Cool. But you've never seen the show. That creates an awkward situation where you're going to do plotlines which either feel out of place or don't feel like character being genuine to themselves. Alternatively, you'll spend next week or so catching up with the show.

3. Reconsider really hard what engine you want to use for your models. HS2 isn't compatible with a large amount of styles. Especially the anime and cartoon ones. One of more popular approaches to these universe mixups is Koikatsu which can work brilliantly and have nice looking models if you work on it. Hell, even stylize it with photoshop or mods.

4. Don't overdo it. I know it's really tempting to actually introduce more and more characters. However the more characters you add, the further you stretch yourself and more commitments to create. Since some people would already put expectations on seeing one character while perhaps skipping many others. Then after time being disgruntled if their favorite doesnt keep getting scenes while others do.
One of the best ways to approach it would be more of an episodic character focused chapters. Where you introduce one character, develop their relations with MC, progress their story by very significant amount. THEN introduce another character and slowly progress their story too while wrapping up story of the original.
THEN after all that is done and you have time left, potentially introduce bonus content for characters who had their stories already wrapped up to keep around people who subbed/followed for those specific ones.

5. Think well what universes you want to introduce because there are some which have... conflicting elements. One of which is for example magic. Magic is a huge deal and can actually define how characters progress, behave and determine even some of the scenes. Be careful around themes like that so it doesnt hurn into just a nonsensical mumbojumbo.

I do have all that in consideration and I am making this game and offered those universes simply because I already have the assets. I know Most of those universes and the 2 that I added simply because they looked pretty haven't gotten any votes yet XD. Aside from that, I am very experienced with HS2 and have access to the toon shaders as well as reshade (and all the adobe products) to make the adjustments necessary for the styles. As for the story, I intend to keep it very short and very simple. This is not a huge project as I do have 2 other games I'm working on. This is simply a launchpad for me to test different skills and master certain techniques and allow you all to meet me. Figured I might as well please all of you in the process. My other 2 projects have already been posted in other forums for a while and while I don't yet have a playable demo/release, those more original and longer projects are coming soon. As for this, it'll be more of a short wet dream with high replay value as my concept as I see it now, will give you a lot of choices, but locks you into one once you choose it. While I know this is not ideal, I intended this to be a short quick game. If it does well, might even consider adding some of the universes we know from around this forum as well (jointly with the authors, of course).

I know this poll is not that recent, but I think you should've added another question asking what franchises would you like the most with a max number of answer. Like, I've voted in one third of the options, but between these there are some that I'd like more than the others.
And if you do make a parody game, please don't do crossovers unless the original has it occasionaly (comics, for example).
And I think games like that should have at least some plot. Parody that already starts with your character fucking everyone is kinda boring.

Palworld would be a good addition to the possibilities. Lots of opportunities for multiple fetishes, since anything can be captured.

3d versions of characters from the Borderlands games would be good you could use the main 4 games , the tales series or from the Tina's wonderlands spinoff

Best of luck with the game, honestly, whatever game franchise you want to snipe for the game, I would suggest focus more on making it fun and with lots of scenes as opposed to just have 2-3 pics and 1 anim of high quality after 1h of grind. Fun and rewarding is the key of success as far as I saw. As for the concept itself, as others suggested, nothing will beat the game you feel you know the lore and story best for. Just imagine the rage of someone making a Mass Effect parody game but the main hero is a Star Wars Jedi on board the Enterprise from Star Trek, all while talking as if he is from the slums of Cyberpunk 2077. Erm, on second thought, if you got the lore down right and know the stories, that might actually be an interesting idea.

Ahem, a better example: a Star Wars game but you have no idea what the Force is, what any of the political forces in the galaxy are, what the Yuuzhan Vong are, what Sith and Jedi are, what Droids are and do, and the only thing you know about it is the reference of "Luke, I am your father!", which is wrong, it never happened in the movie, it was just: "I am your father." Yeah, you could take your time to learn the lore and universe, but if you're not a fan of it, don't like it, it will just end up draining you. I think what all of us want are good games that are completed eventually, offer a decent amount of content, and are fun to play.

So yeah, good luck and here's to hoping you'll do just that!

You playing Hot sands of antartica?
That is a great game including that harem, if you plan to play your game I hope you put harem but don't put ntr and if you think ntr but make it avoidable
