Yes when visiting Japan you will be amazed! The society here is much more open for fantasy games like these, compared to the western countries. Also the comic and even normal book stores have magazine's featuring fantasy stuff we all like in plain sight.

I've never been to Japan. It's probably a place I'd like to see before I die. I can say it's the heart of the fantasy world. They have interesting things like cosplay, fantasy sex products, porn CDs, sex toys, masturbation cafes and these things look normal from the outside. There's nobody who finds it strange. If you do anything close to that in the country I live in, you will be ostracized by society and even prosecuted by the government.
