Hey everyone,

I'm new around here (well actually, I've been responding to threads for 4 days now but still pretty new here) and thought it's about time to post my own introduction thread, but I have no idea what to put here or what to discuss. I'm normally very anti-social, the activity system that the team set up here really appealed to me and got me to even interact with all of you in the first place.

So what I can tell you is that I'm a major computer geek, both on the hardware and software side of things, and run an all AMD setup and a few Linux-based distributions. What are you all running? What do you prefer to play your games on (both SFW and NSFW)? Did you all get what you were hoping for in members+ and above?

Hope to chat to you all soon!

It's surprisingly fun to actually interact on the forums, and we're glad you are enjoying it!

I suspect you'll enjoy it!

Welcome to the forum!
The main advantage of this website is a forum where you can communicate with a pleasant audience.
For the past 15 years, I have been using self-assembled PCs with AMD products as CPUs, although in the last year I have been looking with interest towards the Chinese Loongson.I play exclusively on PC. In my opinion, using mobile devices for games is a kind of masochism. Win10 LTSC operating system suits me perfectly, I don't plan to switch to Win 11 yet.

Hey nice to meet ya! I've a feeling the amount of computer geeks and IT professionals here is disproportionately high hahahah

What distro are you using? I've been trying fedora for the past couple of months after a few years of arch and mint and I've been hating it, feels like using a tablet but you can only use the mouse.

Also, playing on android is nice when I want to be lazy in bet but only for VNs, anything else needs to be on pc.

That actually sounds interesting, you're more than welcome to keep me updated on how that fairs!

Currently I daily CachyOS, nice, safe, comfortable. I do, however, tinker around with Arch (more specifically Black Arch Repos) and test various things in Debian and on Windows 11. Sorry to hear that your experience has been less than pleasant though!

I agree, VN's on Android (usually when I'm waiting for my pc to do things and I can't use it during that time) and everything else needs to be played on PC (especially Unity and Unreal Engine games)!

CachyOs seems very nice! I'll either change my fedora install to it or SteamOs (if i'm feeling lazy). If you're thinking about black arch, you might enjoy Kali a bit more, it's less cluttered with redundant tools, it's also the industry standard besides Debian for pentesting I suppose.

I used CachyOS in the past and was pretty nice, though lately I've been distro hopping a little. I'd recommed you try CachyOS before SteamOS imo. But you do you ig

even though SteamOS has come a long way, I will always see them as a couch gaming os (unless of course that's what you're going for), I will always recommend Cachy between the two

Oh I use BA to spite people that I talk to, but ended up spiting myself. Still though, it's interesting to see the tools available😁
