I was caught by my brother, I was casually playing Trials in tainted space with my door open so the dog could come and go, figured I'd hear anybody coming up the stairs or my brother opening his door, turns out his door wasn't shut all the way so it didn't make any noise when he opened it, heard him go down the stairs and minimized the game when he was coming back up, he popped his head in my room and said "By the way, TiTs, really? come on now there are better games than that, and don't forget to shut your door next time" I'm just glad I wasn't indecent at the time, I asked him how he knew what it was and his response was "I know that color scheme and layout".

Ever since then I've been extra careful to keep doors, windows, curtains, anything I can close, closed. though to be fair, I've caught him playing a few porn games back in the day as well, so karma I suppose.

When i was a teenager my mom found games in the browsers history but chalked it up to ads from pirate sites (i actually never figured out if i forgot to go incognito or if it was really just the ads)

I was caught!
It happened to me during the Corona period. It was my adult son's girlfriend. She was 27 at the time and I didn't know she was there (she had a house key as my son had his apartment on the second floor and the entrance was through our apartment) so I hadn't locked the door. At first she was a little embarrassed when she saw me sitting there in front of the PC without my pants on. I then covered myself up and we talked a bit. She asked what kind of game it was and I showed her. She sat down with me and we played together. At some point, her hand was under the towel and she put my hand under her skirt. Without a word, we did it to each other with our hands. She then left the room and it never came up again. She has been married to my son for a few years now and it remains our little secret.

I have had many close calls but never caught, I have caught my male cousin (maybe grade 9 at the time) when I was younger (maybe grade 7 at the time) after catching him I quick shut the door I would talk to him later. He was so panicked I would rat him out he told on himself and all the awkward conversation I got after from him his parents and my own have made me remember it soo well even though I wish my brain would just forget that awkward moment.

No, cause I don't play them anywhere someone would catch me playing (i've played them in spaces where people could walk in on me, but i wouldn't consider them "catching" me as i'd just tell them about what i was doing - aka close friends and/or partners). BUT! I have been searching for and downloading some adult games and VNs in a shared space and had a moment of panic where I remembered I shouldn't just leave my laptop open on the table as i went to get a snack from the kitchen. wouldn't have been a big deal, but there could have been an embarassing moment of them seeing a first post on a thread and all the screencaps and such.

Yes, I have, and the person in question decided to check the game out themselves. They liked it so much they got through the entire story. They weren't even a fan of the show the game was a porn game of, that's how good the game was.

Yes, but I wouldn’t use the word “caught” here. My wife has caught and still catches me playing these games. She’s aware of my hobby. After all, I’ve caught her playing The Sims 4 with specific mods more than once. My daughter, thank all the gods and goddesses, has never caught us at it. The recipe is simple — lock the doors.
