My god. I had forgotten all about this series and now suddenly I remembered these and that I read something like 15 of these as a kid. Funny how you forget something like that.

No, I was an adult when they came out.

I think I've only ever read one of them. Attack of the Jack O'Lanterns. I'm kind of surprised I still remember its name.

I read several, if you liked the series you should look at the fazbear fright books they are really good short horros stories

Read a lot of them. Welcome to Camp Nightmare was my favourite.

The cover art of Goosebumps series books was always so eye catching as a kid. You had to pick them up.

I read the absolute *fuck* out of Goosebumps as a kid. Goosebumps was my cheat method to get free pizza at Pizza Hut with their Book-It program. I don't think I read the entire series, but I read a significant amount of the early books. I stopped reading once they started coming out in holographic foil. Around that time, I moved on to the Fear Street series, which was Stein's more "adult" (really, it was just mid- to late-teen) series.

That series was good, too.

I recently started reading some of these, found them very interesting. so has anyone read it????
the author recommended this series for children aged 8 - 12.
However, some sources suggest the books are suitable for readers 9 - 14

Loved reading them as a kid, easily digestible stories that I could finish in a sitting or two. The covers are iconic

if you recently started reading some of these, one year ago.
how old are you right now?

they are suggested reading for 8 - 12 year olds, maybe up to 14 years old tops

the devil is in the details of what people post in public.
I work at a public library. I'm surprised that Goosebumps tends to be... fairly unpopular, honestly.

Then again, in a match-up between R.L.Stein and Stephen King, King would absolutely slay.
if you work in a library have you ever seen someone 16 years of age or older picking out any of these books for themselves ??
