Stuck on the Rope quest with Ruri, she is telling me to find something to cut the rope with. I've searched the entire map, can't find anything I I'd like to progress without the option "Prank her"

You MUST choose Prank her...but it's not really a prank in the traditional meaning lol there is nothing to find.

not sure, but in the official version calls the chief Ninai while unofficial is Nine

The 1.0 official version was pretty bad but the new one with the added DLC (2.21) is actually decent...apart from some typos. It's also the uncensored version I asked about on the last page which is, in my opinion, generally preferable to a censored one. For some reason, though, it's not advertised in the OP and one will only notice when hovering over some download links.

That certainly helps, somewhat. But wouldn't it make more sense to add it in the tag list for the thread as well as write it in brackets behind the "Official English Version 2.21"? Doing that would draw more eyes to it more easily.
