It doesn't happen often, bus sometimes it does. NEVER EVER put an .EXE for download, zip it someway, but don't put an .EXE out, it doesn't download either... Too much problematic

Please explain the issue. What is the difference between linking to an EXE and zipping it and linking to the archive? Antivirus programs causing problems?

Completely agree with this. When the creator has to change their original idea or art based on someone else's rules to steer away from their wanted depiction. It hurts fans just as much, since the core populace that was drawn to the game often change with it and can have, pretty often, a negative effect on the games further development.

YEP... And because of experience I never trust an EXE I downloaded, I always want an installer, or zip file, which is 99% of the cases so...

But this .exe stopped downloading halfway...

If you download a zip file you get an extra CRC check, if you extract it, so you know everything is fine. If you download an .exe file,
you can only hope it was downloaded fully...
