It's because people use simple methods to create characters, they just put in a prompt, then install a model that does all the work. That’s why you get that typical AI-looking skin and those facial expressions that are also characteristic of AI. I lose interest right away. It’s the same thing on Pixiv so much so that the best artworks are the ones that don’t look like they were made with AI, even if they actually were, haha. Anyway, I feel the same way. Both images were made with AI, but one feels plastic and bland, while the other has life you can barely tell it was generated by AI:

Yes characters drawn using a modern moe-style are very appealing. clean bright and with great texture, interesting to see it all being done now with AI more and more. looking forward to see this ones progression

Or they have multiple fingers melded together into one super-finger. And all text on shirts is nonsense, or is reversed....
Typical AI BS. Sorry to the dev who may have invested time in this, but it's definitely not for me.
