For me it's Being a DIK, but yeah there's a lot of good competition, I can't really make my mind for the rest of the podium

badik is such an easy answer, but i hands down agree. every time i try something new i can't help but compare it in my head to badik.

I am certainly inclined to agree with the SSP, sure its not the slow build up you get with a lot of the others like SL, but god that cheesy drama shit it's trying to encapsulate is super entertaining and the models and animations are done so well.

I've always been a fan of Big Brother. The girls, the story, the amount of remakes...all are because of how great of a Lewd game this is. Big Brother the OG, will always be tops for me!

Prefer on the petite's side less is more, mostly because VN dev's are real bad at making big tits look anything like realistic. Physics and the laws of gravity often dont seem to apply and they mostly look like bolt on's.

Any sized breasts are fine right up until you hit the point that they're so big they begin to deform the entire body. The point where they look like they weigh more than the person theyre on.

Slight tangent, but same topic. Ive seen a lot of people give the soulslike genre tag to a lot of games that do not fit it, just because dark souls did something similar.

So what do you all consider Soulslike/soulsbourne? What makes the criteria?

I'm guessing when nothing faff is added to the mix. When it's just a pure rogue-like rpg with bosses and different weapons and stuff.
For example Enshrouded has combat like that, bosses, leveling, but it's also a survival like crafting and building game.

Follow-up question if I may: Does the ren'py mod cause issues with other mods for let's say "narrative fixes to any roommates and landladies" or walkthroughs?

it shouldn't and could be used in place of a fix in some cases if the relationships are stored as variables for some reason. I also use URM in place of a walkthrough mod and only ever had an issue with the mod in one game, The Sin Within (not that popular yet but I recommend it), where it wouldn't let me save but didn't corrupt existing saves or anything. I just removed the file and it was all normal again.
