The developer has been in complete silence for more than a year now. I really liked the game, but it'll probably never be finished.

Once in a Lifetime, My Sister My Roommate, Good Girl Gone Bad... all of these have great endings IMO. I like Acting Lessons endings as well, it's shocking to read that it got bad reviews because of having an emotional ending. People are very weird.

It was a bad ending no matter what, no way to get a happy ending. Never played it and wouldn't want to play one like that. It's like you lose no matter what, and that sucks. Having bad endings at all, unless the player makes incredibly stupid decisions, in an adult game lowers the quality. Bad ending no matter what = 1 star game.

I disagree.
These games, like literature or films, tell a story, which doesn't necessarily have to end well for the protagonist(s).
The underdog story that is so common in videogames, where the MC is a nobody, and little by little works their way up until they have the power, money and abilities to kick ass, is only one option. Very satisfying for the player, as they can connect better with that type of character, but one possible narrative. Even in those games, sometimes the end is the death of the protagonist (not gonna name titles in case you or others haven't played).

I enjoyed it a lot at first, as I assume did other people, but as time goes by, every underdog film, game, story, make me think it's made from the same blueprint. The same way the main good character is ridiculously good and the antagonist is obviously evil in most kids movies and you can always guess the plot. Or in wrestling where there are obvious faces (good guys) and heels (bad guys). To me, it's just too simple.

But I think you should actually go and give Acting Lessons a try. It's quite short for a VN and it deserves to be played.

No, I would hate it. I hate bad endings in movies and such, but an unavoidable bad ending in a game is about the worst thing a dev can do.

Guys, this is such a fantasy fantasy. It could never happen in reality, study biology textbooks if you doubt it.
But thanks for the topic - it just reinforced me that all (absolutely all) XXX games or VN/KN belong to the fantasy category. Urban fantasy or some other, but it's not really even SF. I'll say right away - I don't understand such fetishes, although, as we have a popular saying, "everyone jerks off as he wants".

My recommendation would be Power Vaccum....One of the hilarious games with good animations and story line and the best thing is you dont need walkthrough for playing that.
