If you want months of gameplay the three NLT games (starting with Lust Epidemic) would be good in the background… either working it out, or finding the walk throughs and following that. I am currently playing Genesis Order that way, and it will take me 6months or so at this rate. Simultaneously I will play a couple of simple but art worthy games a fortnight to appeal to my attention deficit disorder side of my brain ( current game of the week is the Builder OK but not spectacular… unless you like preg, which I do) . It is hard to recommend unless you reveal your kinks…. It is like asking How Should I vote? Well tell us about yourself Are you an American woke snowflake? If so, I can recommend Biden as right up your alley, Are you a traitorous Catalan Separatist? Then go for PSOE…. (TIC)

You can't say you played a lot of games and say that these are the best. Come on...
I know that you are king going for oldies but there so much better ones like.

- Everlasting Summer
And you put several trainers but not Rogue-like: Evolution?

Katawa SHoujo is clearly NOT western.
Everlasting Summer it is, and I liked it a lot, but it didn't innovate enough to be in the top 10
Rogue-like: evolution is not even in the top 100.

The bastion of older western adult games was Adult Interactive Fiction. Some of the old text based adult AIF games were incredible. Goblinboy was one of the first to start adding 3D art in with his games as well. His game Meteor, IMHO, is the best adult GAME ever created. The level of branching, exploration, options, puzzles (yes real puzzles) and endings is astounding in that game. He was decades ahead game design wise of most current games. BBBen followed his format a lot.

This is an actual good point.
For some reason it didn't came to my mind when I wrote this ranking. I should have put stuff like School Dreams 3 in the top 5, but I guess is too late now

Honestly speaking my favourite overall ( not the best today, but the best when it came out compared to the others )

My Ranking will be based on my personal tastes, but mostly on historical, prestige and innovation reasons.

10 Legends of Queen Opala ( one of the first western adult RPG, very outdated today, but amazing years ago )

9 Dating my daughter ( not a huge fun, but a piece of the incest history here )

8 Big Brother ( I was a huge fun, very upset for the end of the project, but still amazing and innovative game )

7 Breeding Season ( they were scammer, still the first western game of his kind )

6 Milfy city ( similar to BB, very disappointed by the end of the project, but a must )

5 Date Ariane ( super old but first good western dating sim )

4 Good girl gone bad ( first good renpy 2dg western with a female protagonist )

3 Witch trainer ( the original by Akabur, amazing art, nice game, I love Hermione )

2 Four Element trainer ( pushed the training mechanics further than any other game, also 2dg art and very complete )

1 Princess trainer ( first of his kind in western games, amazing arts and very innovative. )

Damn i forgot about date Ariane that was my first game

I did try it, however I left the game just as fast. The downfall for me was the time investment aspect, plus the potential battery drainage. I watched the anime and liked it though!
