My favorite is Lessons in Love. It's a ton of reading but the only one I actually care what is happening.

This will become a tread to watch so i know what devs 2 threaten with death for the abominations they have trusted upon the world,,,,,,,

I'm not joking.

Goodbye Eternity isn't exactly unknown.
Well thats good :D but i think it deserves more attention even though sometimes it frustrates me that many CGs are created with far away camera position

I've played like one or two where the sandbox overworld was just too much to handle and not that readable, and it made me quit those games 10 minutes after installing them
I can't think of the name, but there is one where every update is literally a repeat of the same content with some additions. Each time you have to go through the same slog to see very little added content. That is a big bail for me.

why so, it is a great genre of games

Is there such a thing as a good sandbox game? I'm not even a fan of repeating scenes unless I am replaying a VN.

I like them. Done right they feel more like a real game than most VNs

sandbox games are grea when it is real sandbox and not the kind that have a little span of content

I lean more towards sandbox because all those numbers you have to manage can get old but occasionally one does break the mold and have good character model/animations. Event driven sandbox is way less work.

Sandbox and vns don't mix. Because now it's neither. Go on your preferred online game selling site. steam or whatever you want.
Go on play a sandbox game,,, yeah it's nothing like this crap.
Go play a VN (Visual Novel) ,,, Also yeah nothing like this crap.

Devs that make sandbox shit can't write, that is why they make that crap. They have a story plot of 10 minutes of game play and stretch that out into HOURS. That does not make it a sandbox that makes them into horrible people.

Writing a story that makes sense and has a flow in it is not easy to do. Hence we have so many shit games.
Writing a story and not going off-topic, Isn't 10 minutes long and doesn't get boring or long winded is HARD

Just because you can code does not make you a writer or a game developer

Spending hours repeating doing the same thing over and over again pissing your life away for a reward is called work.. You get payed for that. You get to do fun stuff with that pay.
See that word FUN....
I can not imagine you do not have something better to do for hours then the crap they make..

So yeah these so called devs should be burned alive for making something so retarded.

Nope there is not no. You are right about that.

i think it could actually be better combined because you can make several combinations where you would be able to make some dark decisions instead of just stopping when the numbers you have to manage goes red in that regard i tend to agree with you

i kinda prefer sandbox (as long as it isnt one of the ones with super tedious grinding that is) since they let me focus more on the LI i am most interested in instead of progressing through a set path meeting and interacting in a set pattern, i dislike when im getting really invested in a particular character just to be forced to ignore them and go do a bunch of other stuff with other characters, whereas in a lot of the sandboxes and can focus on the ones i like more and get all them before moving on

i prefer management games, but i like them in general and i have gotten so tired of the sandbox games that pretty much gives you a list of where to be when or how to achieve shit rather than just make a regular VN. those extra clicks and constantly having to go different locales find object a or have to have interacted with li c whatever. blech is what i say to those tupse of games in general. but a combination of the two can work but mostly it just ends up worst of both worlds. constant clicking for tedious stat grinding and constant i dunno shower and pee once a day or bad things happen.
