I have saved up some money for games time to spend them

Rimworld aka Rimcrimes aka turning the Geneva convention into the Geneva checklist.

Jokes aside, it's a really good colony manager and storyteller with an amazing community. Sadly it is singleplayer tho, unless u mod it

I prefer sandbox games, tbh. The more a game lets me interact with it beyond just clicking next, the more fun I have with it.

INCREDIBLY moddable aswell so you can make some pretty horrendous nightmare settlements where you capture hellish demons and hook them up to generators that slowly drain their life essence to fuel your lights

If you're into movement shooters, ULTRAKILL is a straight up monster of a game, 10/10 and you play as a pissed off GoPro who fights with a bag of loose coins

Is this game still being updated? I heard about the dev getting in trouble a few months back but I haven't heard anything else

Not anymore. They say its on hold, but it might be forever this way. Still worth playing tho, like in the day 13 most of the characters plot has been developed, so it's not like you wouldd get that much frustration at the end. Unfortunately the last 2 days of the story won't come anytime soon, that is if its ever comes to exist.

Check out Money or Morals. Underrated as hell.

I agree Money or Morals is probably the best game I've seen recently.

It depends on what your tastes are tho.

I think that a good sandbox game is amazing (i.e. Summertime Saga). Really allows the player to focus on the routes they want to. The problem being that they rely more so than more single narrative focused games, for the devs to constantly develop the area without getting burnt out or 10+ months between updates. A hypothetical best sandbox game is imo better than a hypothetical best non-sandbox, but it is much easier to come close to that in a non-sandbox game.

Oh yeah, I run so many mods like good God hahaha.
Using demons to power ur settlement is fine and dandy but Lord have mercy on your soul should you make me eat without a table XD
