Was interested in hearing some answers to this... But apparently no recommendations!
(So, take this comment, in a way to bump the thread!)

I think that shows the difference between devs thar care about the games they make and devs that don't. I'm sure there's a lot of developers that produce high quality games with the partial use of AI, but we just cant tell. I think it's just the games that are fully made from AI that are and probably will always look lazy.

I definitely get the "looks lazy" part, but I also think that people only think that because there seems to be no one that actually cares to make a good AI game. With the right devs, the proper story writing and donations, surely someone will be motivated to make use of it. But there seems to be a massive lack of motivation.

I'm also interested in the partial use of AI in games. Have people done this? Upscale or use AI to generate higher quality images, without making it too obvious?

Story is chatGPT and images are stable diffusion... so yeah no "real" human input isnt really creating something awesome in this genre.
I assume a dev who actually have a good story in mind and is using the tools available to help get the story across might certainly would help alot.
Its like everybody notice bad CG in movies but there is so much more they don't see when its done correct

Unfortunately not Sisterly Lust. I remember there being a cut dick.. it was what stood out to me. Damn I can't remember if the game was completed or not

Probably Dragon Quest 9 but I'm also a big fan of Dragon's Dogma, don't think I could pick between the two.

Are there any AI games that are actually good? I've played a few so far and I couldn't rate any above 2/5. Maybe I just haven't played enough..

It feels disappointing knowing that there's such technology out there, but most AI games (in this section) that I have played have all been extremely short and lack story writing.

There's so much potential, but so few take the opportunity to make something that isn't a slideshow.

I would appreciate any recommendations, or even thoughts on the matter. Do you know if theres any upcoming projects of this genre (ai games)?

Yeah definitely. I am not expecting someone to come out with a shakespearean level of writing game, but it would be nice if we had someone that cared at least a bit, making a 6/10 game, and then moving on from there. Not these 30 second slideshows.

You are not missing out then. I would recommend playing one or two just to see how the art is when it comes to these type of games, but like aforementioned, they lack in pretty much everything; polished art, story and a proper dev.

I recall the premise. You were hiding out at the house, you reminded the mom of her dead son. I think. The cover art used to have a brunette wearing a eye mask for her cam feed.

In fact, help can be taken from chat GPT style artificial intelligence to write the story. However, there is a restriction on such sites that cannot process +18 topics. If this can be overcome. Very good content can also be created.

Recently i would say baldur's Gate 3. Its really a gem of a game
