Light of my Life - best writing I've seen so far in a VN
My New Memories - very "wholesome" family harem, very loveable characters and good story arc
Love of Magic - It's a game, not a VN, but better story arc than many AAA non-porn games
Anything by Lockheart - Petal among thorns, Avalon, Penny for your Thoughts, etc. Not quite up to my top 3 in my opinion but very close.

Love of Magic is probably the best open world porn game out there from a story perspective. The gameplay elements are all 2D though.

I'm not all that into the catgirl thing but it's fun every once in a while and Neko Paradise did a great job of both making it fit a story line and making it sexy.
Mythic Manor also did it pretty well, but with the limitation of HS1 models.
Are there any other 3d games out there that do this well? Most of the catgirl and similar content I've seen is 2d.

The Pilgrimage, Summer with Mia, Returning to Mia, Lust Theory, Taffy Tales I think had some good ones but less sure about that one.

Been a while since grinding for LC coins and honestly it becomes tiresome to look for games that will keep my interest even if I'm not that interested in that specific "category" of games, but at this point I'm willing yo give some a try while trying to get more coins to finally go back to the good stuff

Any games with high quality animations and modestly sized women(not balloon breasted) would be appreciated

Try the Soulslike and Roguelike Genre, like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Sekiro, Risk of rain, games with good stories like Fallout 76 or The Witcher

Just single player games in general, there are some absolute gems out there

If we talk about BEST? The Inn is really good in the animations department, Echoes of Lust (aka Lust Theory? Weird double naming or namechange? Not sure ) too, out of my head I would probably put them on the top of the ones I played?

There are a few other "good" ones, Desert Stalker, Desire of Fate, Ripples ect.
