I would have if I had the option. Maybe it's a repeated scene where you get more involved as the game goes. But less than an hour in and it blue-balls me twice, I don't trust the game anymore.

Don't worry, it has some really good scenes later on

And several cool storylines.

Especially entering the zone is awesome later on. But I won't tell you more now.

If you're referring to anything dark by 'extreme', I haven't been able to find a lot of Dark games yet. But among those I was able to find, were some decent ones.
- Games from the Blackheart universe, aka Blackheart games - must give them a go
- Apocalypse (by LegacyUser) - has animations too
- Desert Stalker (great one)
- Malignant (game in early phase but promising)
- Vae Victis Khan (a bit sandbox type)
