I actually think they're great if its the mc doing it. They can be pretty engaging concepts with the right type of setting and characters. Imagine a "love interest" (or a fuck interest would be more appropriate here) whos smug and is constantly giving you a hard time through the chapter and closing out the chapter on her knees with your dick in her mouth and staring up at you with scorn in her eyes,bonus points if her bf is a main antagonist. Power,control,and payoff all wrapped together in a "tight" little package.

Elden RIng. The lore and the family dynamic between characters made the game so much more interesting to me.

Half-Life: Alyx is prob the best VR game I've played. but some of my favorites are just mini games and sandbox type apps
