Straitened Times. The grind is mind numbing though

I disagree on the grind. It's slow but the grind is bearable, especially since most repeat-events advances that event a tiny bit further or unlocks the next one in the chain. And the game tells you exactly which event won't have any further effect on stats etc.
Overall I consider Straitened Times one of the best sandbox games if you're looking for a slower buildup where you need to put some effort in to get into the panties.
And if you push through it it even has a MSDD foursome waiting for you.

To specify, nearly 95% of the games out there where the creator says it's a "Dark" story or where the MC is said to be evil just has morally dubious things introduced. With the story just having trauma being brought up nearly every second and if it's not that then it's just characters dealing with unfortunate situations that can easily be solved with half a brain. And the so called evil MCs is out here either brainwashing folks into being happier beings or just fucking people and convincing them that they actually like it.
