The number of games I've played that say they have a "Dark Path" only to find out when I play it, that it's reasonably vanilla in terms of content is shocking, now obviously I understand that many people's ideas of "Dark" is different but having things like 'Incest' as a dark option is at this point ridiculous, that is not dark, that's just taboo because society preaches it that way, dark connotates something sinister or truly deviant that would make even the most hardcore pervert balk

The amount of truly dark path-centric games could easily be counted on one hand.

Content that could be considered Taboo:

• Incest
• Maledom
• Femdom
• Cheating (Netori)

Content that could be considered Dark:

• Slave Ownership
• Copulating with corpses
• Underage Action
• Forced Rape

Most things these days are either accepted or just not that shocking anymore.
