Hey guys what are some games u reccomend with really good/unique fighting mechanics and a great story as well i recently played last of us and while the sotry was great the fighting was super easy/boring so was wondering of some games with a great combination of story and fun/challenging/unique fighting mechanics

Prefer Console games but dont mind PC as well
Yakuza (and Like a Dragon) series games are a blast:
Yakuza 0-6, Kiwami, Man with no name, Ishin
Like a Dragon 1 and 2
Judgement
Lost Judgement

I would definitely play without mods (under the notion that I never played before that is)
hmmm yeah true, altho when i playd follout 4 for the first time i put some mods like inventory and ui, they are a must for me

For lewd probably either once in a lifetime or song of saya.

For non-lewd, myst/riven, 100%

I wouldnt mind more cyberpunk games

Oh I'm gonna get shit on very hard for this, but Dark Souls 2.
You won't dude, DS2 is very good. It maybe not as exceptionnal as Dark Souls, but it still have a lot of qualities, I never understood why DS2 gets so much hate, just because it has a little more flaws than DS.

The case is pretty similar for Metroid Prime 2. It's not as incredible as Metroid Prime, but it's still very nice, it tries a lot of new things, some of them are a great success, and it even fix some of the little flaws Metroid Prime has. But MP2 doesn't get the same amount of hate that DS2 gets, even though it's pretty much the same for DS2, compared to DS.

DS1 for me, not even a choice

I haven't got the opportunity to play Elden Ring, I can't wait for it, it might become my favorite once I played it. But for now, I would say my favorite is Dark Souls.

Also, the 3 DLC of Dark Souls 2 are incredible, especially the one with Sir Alone and Fume Knight, so my 3 favorites places and bosses from all the franchise might be in the 3 DLC from Dark Souls 2.

ds1, though I haven't played bloodborne or some of the newer ones, so I can't speak for them. I like ds3s mechanics in general, but the world feels too disconnected compared to ds1, and ds3 magic made me sad.

Dark Souls 1 takes the win for its map alone. No other game in the genre matched it in that one category. Elden Ring was excellent in general too and I'd probably give my third choice to Sekiro because it just played so damn tight.

Honorable mentions to The Surge because I feel it was a bit underrated.

ds2 did some great things, and was definitely a case of two steps forward three steps back for me. Gameplay-wise it'd only need a couple tweaks to beat out ds1 for me, but the worldbuilding.... is just fucked.

EDIT: a secondary note, the whole SOTFS playerbase splitting in ds2 left a _really_ bad taste in my mouth that taints it further for me. remastered did a similar thing, but that happened long enough after I was mostly playing it that it didn't impact me as much

Bloodborne and Sekiro are both incredible. Outside of Fromsoft Nioh 2 and Lies of P are exceptionally good
