Sweet Affection. I used to like it early on, but with each update, it just kept vomiting more and more words, sentences, paragraphs and eventually novels worth of text my way. Which isn't bad for a VN, if they didn't just repeat the same shit over and over again. It really needs to go through some serious editing before the final release to trim all that fat, because it went from enjoyable to unbearable. Which is a shame. I hate things that waste their potential.

You could probs cut 95% of the dialogue... then it might be decent... in it's current state the game is just bloated with so much repeating unnecessary dialogue.

No.... MNF is tame as fuck in comparison... MNF has maybe 1% of the dialogue that Sweet Affection has.
I can finish MNF in a day if I want... I have never managed to get to current in SA.

gotta have to go with akbur trainers, i replayed them a few weeks ago and i didn't remember them as such a grindfest for some pixel arts, now i can barely look at witch trainer with the same eyes they bore me

SA is also a sandbox with events for every hour of the day for multiple LIs.
The only "good" thing is that those paths don't affect the other paths or there would be even more dialogue.

The game could be really good but the devs like writing... like really like it.
If he'd write an actual book he'd be better off.

That's because there's no sense of novelty. It's one of these one-offs where once you've played through it then you don't get that much of a taste anymore.

I will fight tooth and nail for eternum but I also understand that setting and somewhat slow pace between "action" may not be for everyone (especially lack of certain landlady/tenant tag compared to his previous work).
I really, really like the setting, writing is more than decent and art is absolutely insane, one of the very best.
