It's easy to find people complaining on porn sites, and people complaining about people complaining on porn sites, and so on. So this thread exists to rant about that game that everyone heaps praise on to but you think is shittily made, poorly written, and cucked. This doesn't have to be unique to LC games.

To start, I really don't get the 'dating my daughter' hype, I fell off the game multiple times and it's still always referenced in terms of peak incest. Same with 'being a DIK' which I think is carried by having admittedly impressive visuals, without much actual substance. Also Huniepop 2 was trash.

I forgot about that game - which probably speaks to its quality. It definitely has that uncanny Daz look that puts me off.

Okay, now I'm calling BS lol. It is obviously the best sandbox 2DCG game there is. Name one that's actually better, because even though I love What A Legend it doesn't beat Summertime Saga.

Well it's one of the oldest projects in modern times to be fair, so you can't deny its popularity and thus the number of people licking its ass.

true, but in terms of difference between the game's quality and popularity/general conception of quality there are games with a massive gulf between the two that I can't attribute to Summertime Saga. but of course it's all subjective

Sweet Affection. I used to like it early on, but with each update, it just kept vomiting more and more words, sentences, paragraphs and eventually novels worth of text my way. Which isn't bad for a VN, if they didn't just repeat the same shit over and over again. It really needs to go through some serious editing before the final release to trim all that fat, because it went from enjoyable to unbearable. Which is a shame. I hate things that waste their potential.
