From a players perspective its hard to know if someone has put out a good demo and will actually update if you start supporting or not. I swear it seems like there are a couple of guys just making a demo as bait for donos with no intention of carrying on. Might just be being cynical tho

In fairness, it does happen relatively often. The world revolves around the all-mighty euro/dollar/yen/etc. It's disheartening, but it's one of the commonalities in this media.

My supporting has dropped over the years due to that exact situation. Not so much in supporting new developers, other than recommending their games, but a couple of the 'older' devs I once supported have disappeared as well.

Braindrop, He may miss some deadlines sometimes but he always releases great updates. he always keeps his fans informed, posts a lot, and is honest with fans. some people complain because his updates sometimes take a while but when you play the game you can see why and he never failed to release an update.

One that I am not sure if it is actually popular or just a meme, but that Bad Bobby game. So popular people still pay him money monthly and there have been so many remakes

I know 95% of us are here from the games with the Smols, but I've come across some AVNs with no Smols in them that were incredibly enjoyable in their own right which would get me hooked. So I ask what are your favorite non smol games and why do you enjoy them?

For me I really loved Lust Theory (aka Echoes of lust). I loved the concept of the MC being stuck in a time loop like in Ground Hog Day and trying to come up with different approaches in order to seduce one of his classmates or mother or sisters. The characters are pretty well written too in my opinion having unique personalities that make like them as an individual like the sexy gamer nerd girl, or the MC's mother.

Another AVN I liked was Fetish Locator. Much like Lust Theory I thought the characters were written really well to where I would enjoy them for their unique attributes. Not much incest in the game though the MCs sister was a nice slow burn of a seduction, and I really liked how Fetish Locator was more grounded in that I could imagine someone having a crazy sex life like the MC. How about you folks?

I am trying to remember a game, I think available through Patreon. The dev was not a native English speaker, can't remember if he was from Russia or not. The gameplay was basically between humans and alien species, and you could level up your hybrids through breeding. Then you could send the offspring to the mines, or to the farms, which would fill up with goods every day or so. It was a futuristic society, and the town had signs encouraging breeding. You could assign offspring to be cops as well. It was a client-server game, and you had to connect through Adobe Air. Anyone remember the name of the game?

Trying to remember the name of a couple games. Both of these games are years old.

First:
This game is complete. Monster girl type game. At one point, I believe late in the game, you go to a town that is completely run by succubae. It feels like the setting was that in this town it was always night. I seem to recall something about a huge battle between the succubae and some other force while you're there. The succubae, of course, feed on your semen which makes you a target for all of them. These succubae were not hostile toward the player. It feels like it was an RPG Maker game, but I'm less than 50% certain of that.

Second:
This game was not complete as of the last time I played it (probably 2+ years ago). You leave your wife/girlfriend behind to go visit or take care of your sister (?). You are a lawyer - I believe your wife is too, I seem to recall reading a phone conversation where she became partner of a firm back home. I think you buy and fix up the house that you're in. It feels like it was set on an island; the setting was definitely on a beach anyway, because one of the girls you meet is a surfer. I'm about 85% sure this was a Renpy game. This game is likely in my "waiting for update" folder, but there are 200+ games in there so it'd be a guessing game or process of elimination to find it.
