Both of them are fairly new with a couple of updates but the stories are immersive and the characters are captivating.

Race of Life, it has great graphics and probably the only street race setting game I've played.

What are the best lesser known games you've played and why are they your favorite? I'm mainly looking for games that are really captivating, either due to a great story, great characters, or addicting gameplay.

A few that I've stumbled upon recently without ever really hearing of them before are Stormside ( https://lewdcorner.com/threads/stormside-version-0-23-1-4-atemsiel.2216/ ), Shards of the Past ( https://lewdcorner.com/threads/shards-of-the-past-version-0-3-1-garou24.3477/ ), and Summer Heat ( https://lewdcorner.com/threads/summer-heat-version-0-5-naughty-fox-games.2005/ ).

Stormside has by far the most content of these games. There's just a lot to do, a lot of characters to interact with, and was very fun for me from beginning to end.

Summer Heat has absolutely top notch graphics with phenomenal characters and is very well written. Super attractive love interests as well.

And likewise Shards of the Past has great graphics and really good storytelling, with its only problem really being that it's not very far into its development.

Summer Heat is actually very very good simple story but great writing, makes most of the well known games look sub par.

Don't know if it counts as "lesser known" being $840/month on Patreon, Inn Another World by Dagotto. Even on Fuck95, it only has 26 reviews for a 2-year old game.

Now for reasons. 2D Art which I prefer, and actually looks pretty good. But the main reason I like it is because it's one of the few rare games centered around Monster Girls.
It switched from Ren'py to Unity in the latest version since the plan since the start was for it to not be a Pure VN but a VN w/ an Inn Management system so I understand it.
It still plagued w/ the typical Unity performance issues since it's basically a 0.1 due to the switch, but looking towards improvements soon.
