Some of mine in stream of consciousness order...
My Sister My Roommate -- nice relationship with the "sis" (who is legit not related to MC), interesting endings
Light of my Life -- just really well written overall, probably the best I've played from a writing standpoint, and by far the most creative justification I've seen for an incest plotline
Love of Magic -- I don't think the series is done yet but book 1 has a great story line with interesting characters and an incredibly powerful ending. It is by far the best free roam game I've played (I usually prefer VNs), and the poker-based combat mechanic is surprisingly fun.
Avalon -- Very good writing, a bit much trauma dumping at times so not quite as well written as Light of My Life, but it's up there and has cuter characters and more action. There's two paths and both have good stories and endings.
Double Homework -- This is the only one of Mr. Dots games that makes the list for me, since they tend to be too vanilla / formulaic / commercial for my taste. But the contrast of the twins is interesting, the storyline was well thought out, and the ending was very well done.
Or if you're looking for more porn and less story...
Bad Tutor -- Uses the "Sarah" model from TLOU but has lots of really good, hot animations. Short story - takes place in one evening.
Anything by Dumb Koala -- Steamy short stories with early teen looking love interests, good composition, renders, animations. Most frames are sex scenes, often with a BDSM theme.
Neet and Angel -- Very Japanese and a little grindy but has a LOT of high quality animations. Mom ~35, elder daughter ~17, younger daughter ~12. May take some searching to find a copy.

Why would the Dev add extra hours of work just to please a small percentage of players and risk lose part of his public?
If the Dev is doing the game as a hobby he will probably only add whatever he likes, and if he's doing as a job he will go for something that is popular.
