SL is definitely a good game, but I have no doubts whatsoever that it cannot be considered the best (except for the year it was completed). If it's about the incest then Parental Love would be better easily, whereas overall it wouldn't be able to beat BaDIK.

I'm tempted to just outright call BaDIK the best. I've played a lot of games but despite that it always comes on top.

Personally I'd say Light Of My Life, I found it to be very engaging and compelling, the characters are great and the story captivates you.great stuff. Agreed its not to everyone's taste and the emphasis seems to be on driving the narrative rather than gratuitous sex but it's better for it.

There was a game I really liked that involved a guy who happened on a girl at a bus stop and then later saves her from suicide. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but it was a great story. You could tell the dev had some deep connection to a suicide that he was letting the story act as an outlet for grief

Leap of Faith was the name.

The beginning of Haley's Story. The ending, not so much.

That's because the game is realistic. Like, it pretty much represents what an incest relationship would be like nowadays. Up to the ending. The realism was compelling for the story, hence why I find the writing good.

I think Midlife Crisis does a great job depicting incest in all varieties. At some point, you and your wife fuck your niece. You fuck your daughter and impregnate her best friend. Your daughter directs you to fuck her best friend and joins in. You fuck your sister and her daughter. You fuck your sister while your wife fucks your sisters husband.

Light of my life won me over with time. That game is just well put together, and the slow burn pays off.
It is jank as fuck as far as playstyle, but Regional manager is an instant DL for me when it gets released.

It's outdated - has no gameplay - linear as fuck. But the Art and how story progresses is so good its my #1 game and has been for a long time. To this day no game has ever come close to how good this one is.

I'm talking about Oneshota Natsu Yasumi.

I've played a lot of lewd games over the years, but the sad reality is that a lot of them are never fully completed before being abandoned.

But, there's a few I've played over the years that did manage to get finished and I can say I've beaten them. Of the beaten ones, I'd say Flipwitch is so far my favorite, it's a solid metroidvania game with more focus on gameplay than the sexual aspects.
Close seconds are Town of Passion and Zombie's Retreat.

also, changes over time, actually...

so atm, guess i'd say "My New Family", with Lucy being my favorite char!
but since most ppl here add a few more, i guess i could mention "Eternum" and "Ripples" as they are pretty close, too.

Edit: P.S. another well made game i am not exactly able to "rank" between my favorites, would be "Our Island", guess atm it would be slightly below "Eternum" and maybe a bit above "Ripples" overall? - seriously not sure... but yeah, there's a whole lot of good games out there...

- spoilers - In this game you die and come back as a young guy. You get to bang your new family as well as your old family. With a pretty intricate romance between you and your former daughter. Well worth the time.
