I would like to start my own 3D game. I have already written my scenario so I would like to start creating the characters and scenery soon.
I will use Ren'py.
In order to save me time, I would like to find ready-made scenery / rooms on the internet, and if possible free.
Rooms of the house: Bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, garden, etc.,
And public places: schools, shopping center, cafe, gym, shop, etc...
I saw that Daz and Blender offered this, but it is expensive.
So here is my question:
Is it possible to find free complete scenery for Daz or blender?
If yes, do you have any links to suggest to me?
^^ thanks

Free scenery for Daz or Blender ?

there are free assets out there, but it's a lot of searching. most free environments are low-quality, but some nice ones can be found with enough google searching. the hardest part about using free environment assets is a discontinuity between scenes. trying to get a handful of free environment assets to blend well into a story might be more time consuming than you think.

as for links, not so much. just search away until you find something that will work.

good luck!

A fast alternative is to use free stock images as drop backgrounds, with DAZ rendered characters on the foreground. It's not really the same as a scene rendered in DAZ, but if it's your first project you have to evaluate if you're actually capable of managing full scenes. If you have problems even with finding assets I think chances are you need to start the easiest way possible.

Agree. I been experimenting with using AI to make background for some scene (Like a green screen) for Daz models and photoshoping it. Not going to used it for everything but to make some thing simple and more dynamic looking.

If you look at Japanes VN game. They would have a character model with a few pose , clear background and then put them in a background that they can change but in scene where they interact with the background, some sex scene, and epic/cinematic scene would have it own unique art. This is how Japanese are able to pump out VN even if they are drawing it by hand, they simplify the process to the key components.
