For most people that will be the case regardless of what type of OS they have, I remember back when I used Windows the error codes that you received would almost always be a useless generic error code.

Install Tor if you are so paranoid.
And regarding the "issues" - in the age of internet you can easily find any solution online. The Linux community is very helpful.
In my experience, I get much less issues with Linux than with Windows.

I have no problem with the purple hair it's the hair cut that made me lose interest in her as she was so much hotter before the haircut. If you don't like the word kitten you can always just extract the game files using unren - load the script.rpy file into notepad and do a search for the word kitten and do a mass change to some other word instead and then overwrite the .rpy file and bring the game up kitten will be replaced with whatever you picked.

yea the haircut combined with the purple color is just a bit atrocious for me to enjoy the game

I am assuming that the rule is for real images of minors. Otherwise they would've removed the restricted games section.

Sometimes this happens when changes in the story happens and your save file isn't compatible with the new story path. Sometime it helps to find an older save file to load.
