Extracted just fine with 7-zip (over 24 years old and still the most reliable extraction software) and the password in the OP (which changed for this release, so if you're using the old one, stop doing that).

Launched just fine.

Loaded a save from the penultimate render of 0.6 just fine and continued without error.

If any of the above are not true for you, you're doing something wrong.

Idk if its some language thing but some of the dialog is super unnatural in the new update. Reads like a really over the top porn novel your grandma reads.

Check and make sure your virus scanner isn't doing something. I know some scanners will silently delete stuff without telling you depending on how its set up. Next i would try moving it to another drive. Also it wouldn't hurt to restart the pc.
Also one last thing, you did see that it is double compressed right. Once you unzip with password then you'll have to do it again. Sorry just trying to cover all the basic steps.

Passwords listed on most games on this forum always seem to cause errors. Usually it takes a few times and different copy methods.

Put together a quick Walkthrough mod for this, get it on Mega (or attached below if you hate Mega, lol). The choices are fairly obvious, to be fair, but it doesn't hurt.

Drop the "game" folder in the mod into the folder where you installed this VN, overwriting if/when prompted.

(Please note that any mods which others have provided are not compatible with my mod.)

Apparently I need a break from my EE job. I read that as effective series inductance rather than English as a Second Language and I was picturing her in my mind sitting on top of a Tesla coil for a good 30 seconds wondering how I missed that scene before realizing what was meant.

I don't quite remember whether the story takes place anywhere particular, but if it takes place in the US, the MC might be better off marrying Kitka rather than adopting her. The paperwork would probably be easier, in many states her age shouldn't be an issue, and no awkwardness when she gets pregnant.
