Those that use Telegram, are there groups?

Telegram and Signal are crawling with hackers and lea, but once upon a not so long ago time they were great. The bad thing about all these apps is you generally need to know someone already in it to get anywhere.

There were a few good chat groups but things happen and then poof, like magic they disappear.

I used to use Signal as my sms client then they axed that functionality. Still have it on my phone but rarely use it these days.
