rogue-likes and rogue-lites make up a fair amount of my spending and time, followed up with alot of rpg's which can overlap, however I find that I cast a rather wide net of different genre's beyond that.

I used to hate FPS games a long time ago but went back and started playing Half Life 2 and its such a good game

My typical go-to is RPG. Doesn't matter if it's fantasy, modern, sci-fi, or whatever. But RPGs have topped my list since the '80s when SSI was in their heyday.

For myself survival/builders are good right now. Icarus is REALLY good with it's blending of survival, building, and missions. Enshrouded is also nice.
