I approve of all incest related games but the sparkle for me is when it's forced.

I like having the option but not needing to if I'm not feeling it or if it'll totally ruin the direction of the game with that character. For example in Malignant you get the option of forcing the daughter or letting her explore her sexuality more romantically. I definitely save-scuffed both paths.

The selection of such games should be approached with caution. In some cases, different roommates and landlady as if inviting to create a patch.
But there are games where it is not needed, because the author has created a quite logical, reasonable layout of the relationship of the protagonists.
In some games, incest adds nothing, rather has the opposite effect. Mistwood Manor - in the author's version, MC's father dies, after which MC runs the inn with his stepmother and his stepsister. Why not?
Amnesia - MC's father is killed in action in a very distant land, MC is left with his stepmother and his two stepsisters.
Adding incest in these cases can be compared to pulling an owl over a globe.

I understand that, and it would be the best to always have a choice. But if I was forced to choose I would (almost) never pick the non-forced path.

Initially I thought -- yeah, any game can be incest, why not, but I actually agree with this.

Unless the game was planned as semi-incestuous (but those that avoid direct incest by now usually allow renaming of character roles) -- the dialogues would be most likely all wrong.

I mean a hot milf might be on a lookout for a young stud, that'd be pretty normal. If she's your mother -- in a normal setting that would not be ok at all.

Ymmv, it uses an engine unique to that creator. There's a few bugs, but it works. I enjoyed the game, but I also unironically enjoyed Snakes on a Plane so make of that what you will.
