It's a good show by basically any show metric. Walton Goggins makes everything better. I wish it leaned into more of the the west coast Fallout vibes ala FO1, 2 and NV rather than Bethesda FO though.

The Fallout games are great. Fallout I and II are outdated and I would not recommend playing them nowadays (they were great when they came out though) but all the other Fallout games still hold up pretty well. And they have tons of good/very good mods.

Can confirm, i tried replaying Fallout 2 recently and i couldn't get into it the isometric view + huge ui doesn't do well on high res

I would recommend starting with F3 to anyone interested (FNV is great but the crashes and saves issues...)

So far no one has answered my question about how this new show compares to "Fallout: Nuka Break'. I know it was a fan made series, but it was GREAT. The quality was PROFESSIONAL. The story, costumes, make up and everything else was awesome. So, can anyone tell me how the 2 live action shows compare?

Just a thought.

I personally think Fallout 1 and especially Fallout 2 are still super playable today. They are timeless.

I'll be upfront and admit I'm biased. I enjoy the games ten times better then the Tv series. That's not the shows fault it's just that every time something based
off games, books, and comics gets adapted it's never the same. Just look at the latest Dune movies, they are not true to the books but the directors version.

You can also tell they have to make it watchable for non-fans who never read, watched, or played the games as well.

He's right as modern hardware makes playing them harder every few years, but a few mods can help with that problem. Though it's just putting makeup on a
pig. What Microsoft needs to do is fully remake both original games similar to Wasteland 3. The time is ripe given how famous the TV show made the games.

hahaha its not just me then! i noticed when i was watching like... the 4th episode like damn she has big eyes. The show is pretty good so far though I'm only on episode 6 but I'm glad theyve been highlighting how messed up the vaults are which is such a big part of the story of the games to me.

True that. I hope you also watched "Silo" cuz, that show really shows how messed up vaults can be big time. Can't wait for season 2 of both those shows.

Oh man Silo was so good. Im interested to learn what happens on the outside now that the MC "escaped". Apple has a lot of good shows. Foundation is one of my favorites on right now.

??? That is a totally different type of tv show. Shogun was very good yes, But this thread is not "name a good tv show" or name your favorite tv show. I mentioned "Silo" in my post because the two shows are very similar.

It is better than i exptected, they really nailed the gameplay and the character tropes from the game.
