seems its getting good reviews but i have a dosen other shows to binge

Is it worthwhile for someone who hasn't played any of the games?

I've been holding off on watching it. I hear that it's really good if you only started the series with 4 and 76 but it's bad if you liked the originals and New Vegas.

Unfortunately, I have played all of the games and love the west coast games more than the east coast ones so I'm assuming that I'm going to hate it.
I've been playing since the very first Interplay Fallout and I'm enjoying it.

its ok.
good start, very good middle part, meh end
defenitly one of the better series in the las few years especially from amazon
wont regret watching it

gonna binge it this weekend. my expectations are not very high but i do have hope. then again i guess i am getting more cranky the older i get and i just don't enjoy most series/movies these days.

Oof, I've been hoping that wasn't true...

I've only played FO4 (<1k hours), and 1 attempt at NV (never finished, hard drive died). I've enjoyed the series so far (haven't finished yet), and have also caught a few jokes, references and pokes that would be missed by those that haven't played any of the games.

There's the usual "the game/books said..." moments. I also noticed that Todd Howard is one of the credited Executive Producers, so if they f-up the lore, they at least knew about it.

I'd recommend the show all in all. If it's not your thing, so be it. I was surprised to see Kyle MacLachlan... holy crap, he got old. I guess Dune was a while ago (the '84 original). Now I feel old.

I'm really enjoying the series so far, trying to watch an episode a night, just got done with episode 3. I really like what they've done with the series so far, and there are a ton of easter eggs and references. Gonna have to watch it multiple times to see them all.
Binged it a couple of days ago, i liked it, the ghouls are kinda weird, but other than that it's a really nice show

I've been playing Fallout since part 1 and the show is really awesome imo. By far the best game to live action adaptation I've seen so far (although that isn't that big of an achievement). It also has 2 major advantages over previous adaptations:
1. Todd Howard had a very heavy hand in it to make sure everything is as close to the game as possible both lookwise and storywise
2. The show is canon with the games, so the writers didn't have too much artistic freedom to push their own ideologies in it if it isn't in line with established Fallout lore.

played the games but have not gotten around to watching the show

I watched Fallout, and while the story is new, I'm with you on none of the shows are really enjoyable.

Most things worth watching seem to already have been done before, and in many cases way better than the trash that is released now.

Everything also seems to get the Mandalorian treatment, with episode 1 setting up the plot and then every episode between 1 and the final is just filler. Or in the case of Fallout, sidequests.
