The Patreon version of 3.8 was leaked, so I updated the links in the OP.
Try downloading the new version and see if works better for you this time. I couldn't reproduce the error at least.

If you're still having issues with this, just don't install the Inc patch. The game has the option to change names and relation. I was having the same issue and found out the patch was unnecessary.

One of the best remakes! Storylines are Good. GoldenGob Graphics are different but always Improving. Sex scenes are amazing - Make sure you play the unlocked version.

The pop quizzes that require you memorize details of Busted to progress... Was cute at first and gets more annoying after each replay.

Overall this is a nice simple game with some nice features like a gallery and the ability to skip - But make sure you use opaque dialogue box fix!
