Overview:
The Dad and Mom had been archeologists for years before they ever met, seemingly at random, while searching for separate artifacts that happened to be traced to locations in close proximity to each other. After meeting and dating, they soon married and had a daughter. After she was born, they stopped adventuring to allow their daughter to grow up. Once the daughter was old enough, they enrolled her in a boarding school in order to go back to work.
However on one fateful trip, the father was lost (to some unspecified event) and the mom pulled the daughter out of the school to redevelop a relationship with her and educate the daughter herself.
The story has Mom and Daughter working together on adventures while trying to rekindle the much closer relationship that they both desire.
