This game has graphics that I don't usually like, but for once it doesn't bother me, it works well with the character's appearance.

Playing this game feels weird as it was rebooted twice and you can tell were the new and old content begin and end.

My gut feeling is this game has been abandoned or put on the back burner by the developer.

I totally agree that there's a certain kind of ugly that's hot. I don't understand it but I agree it exists.
