I love both but I have no patience anymore to walk with a dog everyday, cats are easier to deal with most of the time.

Pretty much this. I had a dog as a kid and that was a great experience (not to mention a lesson in responsibility). These days, I've grown far too lazy for it, tbh.

Prefer dogs, but cats are (generally) much less maintenance.

like the germans?? do explain further..
No need to explain further, it's the stupid stereotype of Germans beeing overly stuck up and liking extreme kinks. 🤷‍♂️
Usually said by people who never once met someone from Germany.

Dogs all the way

Im a cat person meowself... dogs are loyal and lovable when raised right, but can be dumb, loveably dumb, cats on the other hand are cute, loveable, smart, cunning and devious all rolled into one, oh and one thing to remember when cats are invovled, the person doesnt own the cat, the cat OWNS the person.

I find cats to be cooler. Independent and effecient hunters - and despite being assholes they still manage to have people as their servants while giving nothing back.

Nothing beats coming home and seeing my dog's face, her happiness. She also follows me everywhere and is always so happy that I talk/play with her. Sorry but cats can't even compete.

Cats. I never liked dogs because they always get excited when I'm around despite having never met them, for some reason.

I've had both & they each have their upsides. The dog is there for you to rasie your spirits enjoy your presence, but will also want you to take care of it. The cat is more than willing to actively take care of itself and be independant which only makes the times it chooses to spend with you more precious.

Cats because if you can get a cat to love you, you know you're doing something right.

dogo all the way even tho was attacked as kid and got some scar and even half of a ear chewed out

I like them both, but I would never have a dog in a city with a "small" apartment, maybe in a house.
With cats, having the 14 cats in the neighborhood come to my place to eat count?

dogs if they're well trained, cats are little shits regardless of training so they don't need it as much

I have spent my life being around dogs
