100% agree with you unless there is like story line where you meet your family members later and can bang them, bad example but 23 sisters where you dont know them till you meet them kind of thing. Yes! It completly destroys the erotic tension between blood related siblings! Characters become shallow, the chemistry forced and it leaves you feeling that you wasted your time. I mean playing a game with complete strangers is better that this step-crap. In another thought it tries to promote a very fake world view, I mean why should, let's say the MC, have the same feelings and emotions toward his stepmother that he should have for his blood related mother? This could even be something dangerous and it looks like a brainwash attempt.
