Well, imma not picky about this, though some pairs of hair/eye colors looks better then other, like, blondes with blue eyes are more expected.

Red eyes with long, black hair is best for anime/manga-like style
And if the character is rather realistic, I prefer slightly green eyes, brown or blue. Heterochromia eyes also nice
