creepy little black beady eyes should be a choice, how else will you know the character is deranged or a villain.

but yeah in facial close ups the eye color matters, which color not so important but just the black on white looks really bad

I don't really notice but if I was to choose I would probably choose a light shade of blue or a dark shade green, Maybe even a mixture of the two.

With DAZ, eyes can be beautiful and very expressive regardless of color.
For eyes, I prefer DAZ to HS or VAM.

I'd say to me the color isnt as important as the quality, some renders seem soulless or uncanny while ive seen others that draw you in

It certainly adds a nice touch to characters in VNs. Not so much a specific color for me I'd say, more so that it's done well. I will say green eyes are an instant turn-on though.

Yeah, I think so. All eye colors are beautiful, but it can definitely elevate how a person looks if it fits them

Not really, eye color doesn’t really matter, but it’s always nice to see some variety in character design. I personally like it when the eye color contrasts with the hair color.

Just kinda curious as it's something I often ignore myself...

But when I look back at some of my favorite renders, it turns out I do have a preference! It sometimes does make a difference!

I like having nice *detail*, but between blue/green/red/silver/whatever else it is, if it looks good, it looks good (though I will say not a super big fan of brown eyes). the only element I'm super picky about is catgirls, if they don't have cat pupils, I don't want it.
