I really like the game "Bad Memories" by Rec. I know it's a long time between updates, but I still enjoy the game. I played as both the Male and Female MC

I tend to prefer female protagonist in corruption games. I feel those types of games have more going for them when its a lady doing or being corrupted. little sexier.

I like female protag games, if the setting is appealing to me and the story seems to be interesting.
I like to play storys from different perspectives.

If the storyline is good enough, then it doesn't matter what sex the protaganist is.

Most female protag games i just don't get. The point of playing a porn game is to eventually get to the porn. And the point of playing a game is to have fun learning the mechanics and getting better as you progress through it. Many female protag games create a dissonance between me the player and the character because you often get the porn (the reward) by losing a combat encounter and thus I am encouraged to not succeed. This i don't like.

The one female protag game I've enjoyed is the exposed livestream game because it doesn't follow the gameplay loop described above.

I can relate to that. My workaround is imagining I'm the one sending the girl through this gauntlet of failure and consequences. Make it more of a test of obedience/determination for her.

Oh yeah, I tend to do female in char-customization games unless I'm trying to RP something in particular. Default is something pretty to look at.

I've played like 1 or 2 female protag games I didn't mind. Usually I can't get into them. They don't play into the fantasy in the same way.

I like playing a female MC just fine. There's something about playing a hot girl that's sorta...well hot. I tend to write, and when I write I really enjoy writing female MC's. Overall it's a nice change of pace, especially if the primary objective is still girls.
