discussion Do you really enjoy female protag games?

[bear45]

If there's corruption and options then yes. If it's just a female being a hoe for the sake of being a hoe, no. Customization is also a plus, but not required. I'll try out almost any game, as long as it doesn't look too horrible and has somewhat positive feedback.

If the story is interesting then I've enjoyed them. It just depends on if I'm in the mood for that kind of story or not.

I actively search and look for female protagonist´s tags. It´s 1 of the few "musthave´s" coupled with a lesbian route.

Most female protags end up as being raped by monsters, or are total slut games with no story.

I generally enjoy female protags but i think its mostly because its different.

[James2911]

Yes. I enjoy exhibitionism and corruption, so Female protag games offer a lot more variety.

[Azraelith]

Not particularly; don't get me wrong sometimes the games are well done and I can enjoy a good story/set up but plenty of times it's just a prelude for a quick pump and dump, not my style.

[johnny_reb_21]

depends on the game, just like others if it is a good story and developed characters they are great. If it is just so you can be free use and see nothing but sex not really.

[johnny_reb_21]

I agree some games do it well but others feel lazy

yeah same with the male protagonist games but it seems more misses than hits. although "The Point of No Return" and "Good Girl Gone Bad" were really good ones.

Good writing very kinky better scenes than what you'd typically find in male protag

[arar]

nah. Id rather fuck than be fucked

[garei15]

I don't mind a female protagonist as long as I enjoy the game.

it can be fantastic! getting to hear a girl's internal monologue as she gets lewded is a unique pleasure. I played something called "exposed livestream" recently and it was a blast

[TheMC]

Depends. In porn, no. I want to do the fucking, Not be fucked.

In normal games yes. I like the Tomb Raider games and in fighting games I like both sexes equally.

Many female protagonist games are built with a male player in mind. While some women might enjoy them as well, they are usually geared towards a male market. I tend to prefer male protag games, but I do seldomly enjoy some female protag games as well. I just look at them from a different perspective.

Female protagonist games are enjoyable but only in certain scenarios. Like a total slut game where you can freely corrupt the characters life is a good game for female protagonist IMO, or a family/incest themed game where the protagonist can freely choose what to do (multiple choice actions, not limited to the story progression). But of course there are games types where it can be a bothersome idea and it really comes down to how well written the story is. I've played about 20 ish games with female protagonist, of them I'd say I liked about 3, maybe 4 (don't ask, I can't remember the names) and that's simply because they are so hard to pull off, but when they are perfect, it's a joyous moment

I feel it can be an interesting perspective, especially for corruption type games. It's like you possessed the woman and can ruin their life

[jbartendgod]

I really like the game "Bad Memories" by Rec. I know it's a long time between updates, but I still enjoy the game. I played as both the Male and Female MC

I tend to prefer female protagonist in corruption games. I feel those types of games have more going for them when its a lady doing or being corrupted. little sexier.
