Do you play your own music in games?

When I grind on warfare I like watching video essays on games or horror channels but if I'm doing like endgame content on ZZZ or Gundam battle operations 2 I like playing some music.

I mean in non-H games. Do you stick with in-game soundtrack, do you mute it or do you put your own playlist? For me there are some games that have lack of track variety and if they're long I usually play some random playlist with a music that's close to the game's tone. If I play mindless shooters or pvp games I usually put on some energetic jam to keep myself pumped. You?

i rather just listen to the games own soundtrack if its good and if its bad or lack of i prefer quiet

I can recall a couple of gaming memories tied to albums I was listening to at the time that were otherwise unremarkable haha. Sometimes I do but it is normally for a non-immersive game story wise

For me it depends on the game, if the game requires me to grind for something and I've been playing it for a while or has that generic/stock music playing like a lot of these RPGM games do, then I'll turn all in-game music off and start up my spotify playlist.

Depending on the game I’ll often listen to audio porn while I’m playing. Soundgasm is king

It depends ,in multiplayer games, I often do that, but in single-player games, I don't and I tend to use the game audio. As for NSFW games, I always use the game music if there is any.

Usually if some games don't have music and only have sound effects I play lyricless music, it's not really a problem.

Probably not, with a few exceptions like strategy games, turn-based games, or card games, and maybe the radio in GTA. For more ambitious titles, I stick to the original soundtrack.
