The only time I like voice acting is when the game is played from the MC's perspective and I don't control the MC and I'm just along for the ride. Completely a story game. Otherwise sounds should be during sex scenes or not at all.

I was thinking adult games. Not the kind where there are no choices and it's like a FPS or such.

Voice acting can be good if it's actually from a professional. If it's machine, I lose all immersion. I also read too quick for voices but I can def switch to having the voice audio lead if it's actually good

I'd rather there be voice acting, even if it's just moans, than there be nothing. At least if its there and I hate it I can mute it.

The computer generated voices are a no go for me. I turn them off quickly.

Bad voice acting by actual people is worse than no voice acting .. it distracts from the story flow.

Decent or good voice acting can take a game from fun to really good if there is a decent story being told.

Sex sounds from the LIs during lewd scenes can be a good addition as long as it is not the same small set of sounds being repeated over and over.

I don't dislike the idea, I understand how it can be enjoyable, but I personally mute all sounds 99% of the time. I will leave them on sometimes without any particular reason, but I guess it's just not my thing. I like the quiet. I prefer to have a lot of stuff on like 1% volume etc. And ultimately it's not really much of a turn on for me. I'm not interested in the sound aspect of my porn, it's just something extra that doesn't need to be there for me to enjoy it.

No, I really do not like it. As a rule, it's all done on a very unprofessional, amateur level. Well, in order to hire professional actors, you need money. Machine voice-overs don't hold up to any criticism.

If the voice actor is quality then I enjoy it, otherwise, I'll usually have the voice level almost muted.

In RenPy, I press V for voice enabled speech particularly for text heavy games.
Tho i would much prefer real VA
