Honestly depends. I think in with 3D models usually no. It just looks weird cause devs often just use some Franken Model. With 2D models, it can be ok depending on how the character is drawn.

I like variety myself. If every single LI has the same breast size, same ass size, same waist size, etc... it's not as arousing to me. It also helps in keeping the characters separated from each other. "So is this the big-breasted red-head the character knows from school or the one he knows from the gym?" Stuff like that. I don't mind a couple of LI's with exaggerated bodies but having 10-30 of them all having similar proportions? It gets old.

Same goes for dick size. It seems like most AVN's are going with 12"-20" dicks 95% of the time. I don't mind a little exaggeration but let's at least keep it within the realms of reality somewhat. I think if Devs would keep the size to 8"-11" that the player base would still be happy and the LI's would still be reasonably surprised/happy/horny/etc... from discovering it.

I play these games to enjoy the storyline AND the artwork. But throwing beachballs on a woman's chest or a cock that is over a foot long and three inches wide?? Unless the story is extraordinary, that is when I clock out and exit the game. A bit of airbrushing or the equivelant is one thing, but unrealistic proportions pull me out of the story and make the game an excercise in frustration.

Proportionate is the thing I always look for.
A very skinny chick with monstrous hips and enormous tits is just plain ugly and not attractive..
(and a very large/chubby woman without any hips or tits; while technically possible IRL too; just looks off too)

As for the males - in most games the schlong is about the size of a leg, or the very least an arm; I understand that a bit bigger is easier for making certain angles work etc; but it's kinda extreme in most games. Combining that with some of the smaller bodied women you encounter, it's almost laughable how their full baseballbat just effortlessly disappears inside of them.. lol

Proportions in porn is funny because a D cup would look small in the world of 3d porn. I like characters with proportions bigger than real life but nothing comically big.

I've always been in favor or larger assets, even with extreme proportions I will still play and likely enjoy the game. I do agree though especially when it comes to games that are not just fap material. I don't read books but the stories I have encountered in AVN's (Overlooking the fact haven't even delved into the world of VN's themselves) are truly amazing, so yea for those normal or more realistic sizes are prefered.

I took the poll, and so I can already see I'm in the minority even before posting this. Obviously the primary reason for that being loli = petite. Petite = realistic, with zero exaggerations in terms of unrealistic proportions.

I guess I'm a bit of an anomaly. Obvs I enjoy smols in AVNs. It's not because they're smols, though. At least, not literally speaking. In fact, if I could will into existence my ideal visual characteristics into an AVN that has smols, they'd have quite unrealistic bodies.

That last bit, I think, serves as a perfect segue into the reason for my answer being in the minority for the poll: I like big butts, and I cannot lie. Jokes aside, I genuinely do love cake. I don't really even care if the woman it's attached to has a sizeable waist. If anything, that's where the "realistic" attribute would be both welcome and admired by me. Yes, I'm saying I like 'em thicc. More than the cake, I also love giant tits. Straight up. I despise AVNs that have average or below-average tits. My satisfaction goes completely out the door at that point. We like what we like. So, in summation: The thicker, the better. The bigger, the better. I'm not necessarily saying go straight to SSBBW, I'm just saying that in a world of make-believe, why would I want to limit my enjoyment? Why not maximize all the things I love, visually, regardless of whether I'm likely to find that in real life? Isn't fantasy the goddamn point??

This brings us back to the original question, as it pertains to smols, since that's the reason 99.9% of us are on this site in the first place. So, if I like what was outlined above, why do I even bother with pursuing AVNs with smols? Simple: because so many fantastic ones fall short of being near-perfect by omitting smols outright or by preventing any lewd content with them. I want all the ladies of all the ages (yes, even a nice GILF is welcome), and I want their appearances not to be average/realistic. Otherwise I will get bored. Does that mean I'm shallow? Immature? Incapable of looking past the aesthetic to appreciate good writing and storytelling? Perhaps that would be fair to say if we weren't talking about a type of entertainment who one could argue has the sole purpose of arousal. Be it slow-burn or straight to Faptown, if any of us wanted to play it safe with sexual content, we'd stick to mainstream games. Hell, even those are starting to get more immersive and provocative in their storytelling and player experience.
