One made with RPG maker. A terrible engine for any game, but even more so for an adult game. It has horrible graphics on the map - not even good by 1980s standards. Not sure of any popular ones. A lot of bad devs use it.

I'm Okay with it, 90% of games developed with it are low effort garbage. But i am fairly tolerant of bullshit games, and there are some hidden gems out there.

They can be done really well if the gameplay leans into the RPG mechanics and has some complexity. It's usually awful though.

MGQ Paradox has implemented RPG maker well.

Play less RPGM games for sure but some like Claire's Quest are great.

There literally ARE no good RPGM games. Any having to wander a map or any grinding automatically means "bad game."

I don't hate it per se, but most of the time games get to grindy and very rarely pay off for time invested.

I do, having to walk around to try and find objectives is so annoying with the lack of proper guidance tools, it feels a lot like a chore.

YES! I mean, some of them are okay... I don't hate them on principal, and have even enjoyed a couple of them. But I hate that everyone who uses it feels the need to add in ten thousand little hoops you have to jump through to get one lewd scene.

I dont hate them but in my opinion there are not that many good RPGM games. I like Tail of Desire or Nicest a lot

Ren'py games tend to have higher quality artwork from the ones I've played

I don't. Though I don't understand the devs who use RPGM just to make a... visual novel game. Like, wtf?

Depends on the grindyness of the game but usually, Love

Only ones I have enjoyed were SAO The Trap of Breath Concealed Magic, NLT games and peasants quest but even this I dropped when the RPGM was getting to much.

Depends on the game and the art style.
Mostly i'm ok with them.

Running around the map looking for stuff is just a waste of time imo. But i can see ppl liking it, just not for me.
