I love Alien franchise but omg were they stupid in Prometheus...

i wish there was more realism in terms of how characters act in movies so they dont just do stupid shit to further the plot

some directors have commented on such a phenomena...... for many movies it is intentional! it is according to them more fun for the viewer to know what is coming some times....... with the pay off being the result or consequence of such an action.... already predicted by the viewer which grants them some satisfaction.....it is also making it alot easier for them to forward the plot with such stupid protagonists

A lot of horror movies, especially the more slasher, less supernatural ones. It's more a fault of the writer's, but they all act like guns don't seem to exist, or nobody grabs something to use as a weapon. Lazy writing imo.

If you watch enough movies, you can see a pattern, the same shit over and over, often even on the same minute. And nowadays with all that political/DEI/Woke nonsense, it's not only uninteresting but also very irritating.

IF I want to see a nice scifi series, I want to see scifi, not some lesbien/gay/trans drama.

Its very annoying but I love it because it shows how dumb some people can be. Not only, but also how sometimes we all can just make the wrong, or even stupid choice, so for me it adds to the "emotional" side and yes, can be frustrating to watch but in some movies it also adds to the drama. I like it

Alien: Earth. For battle hardened soldiers, scientists, executives and synthetics there are a lot of questionable decisions that are made. It really just fell apart after episode 2 onwards for me, I kind of just gave up on hoping the show would hook me.
